Die Wurzel geht von der Mitte der Pflanze aus in Richtung des Endes des Topfes und wird durch die innen liegenden Pyramiden zu den \u00d6ffnungsschlitzen geleitet, wo sie in einer Umgebung mit hohem Luftanteil an der Spitze zu dehydrieren beginnt und den Prozess der Luftbeschneidung (Selbstbeschneidung) einleitet. An diesem Punkt reagiert die Pflanze, indem sie mehr Seitenwurzeln an der Stelle bildet, an der die Spitze nun trocken ist. Dieser Prozess wird fortgesetzt, bis die Pflanze in einem <b>Roothus\u00ae-Container<\/b> untergebracht ist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Das entstehende Wurzelsystem wird dicht, faserig und voller nach au\u00dfen gerichteter Spitzen sein.
