Lock Down Pads are a bright yellow adhesive chromotropic trap coated on one side with a specially formulated glue to block insects as they pass through. There is no odour, no risk of harmful chemicals in the air and soil.
It is effective against aphids, red spider mites, fruit flies, minnow larvae, fungus gnats etc.
Lock Down Pads are designed to cover the base of your plant, which provides the safest way to produce high yields. The Lock Down Pad protects your plant from debris entering your growing medium, helps stop mould/algae and reduces watering.
Theyare water-resistant, long-lasting and can be used at any stage of growth. Lock Down Pads are economical, effective, completely safe and easy to use. They are ideal for use indoors or outdoors in Hydro pot plants / soil.
LOCK DOWN PADS offer double protection:
- from the air, many flying insects such as aphids and midges as well as their vectors (flies) are attracted by the yellow colour; LOCK DOWN PAD attracts and blocks them.
- from the ground, LOCK DOWN PAD is placed at the base of the plant and protects against insects climbing up the pot and hiding in the soil.
