A purely Indica (Hindu/Pakistani) strain that took root in California in 1996 and hails specifically from the San Francisco coast.
The name beatnik was invented by a journalist from the San Francisco Chronicle in 1958 by the late 1960s Beat Generation movement.
This Kush has a stocky stature, a bulky structure, thick stem, compact internode spacing, and a bud distinguished by shades ranging from forest green to pale purple.
The flavour is very pungent, typical of kush, but at the same time fruity with tropical tones that delight the palate.
It has a heavy calming effect: a powerful muscle relaxation takes over from head to toe, but leaves the mind with dreamy euphoria.
