L’estrazione con acqua ghiacciata, anche conosciuta come tecnica ice-o-lator, è il processo di rimozione dei tricomi dalle cime usando acqua ghiacciata. Il materiale congelato viene lavorato attraverso un estrattore o lavatrice con ghiaccio e acqua. Agitando la materia vegetale nell’acqua fredda, i tricomi (noti anche come resina) si separano e cadono sul fondo;
Con le borse Chocolizer è possibile raccogliere questi tricomi e separarli.
Questo metodo di estrazione è considerato tra i più puri, in quanto non utiilizza solventi e non prevede l’uso di alte temperature.
