Biobizz LEAFT COAT is a plant invigorator.
Sprayed on plants it slows down and regulates leaf evapotranspiration facilitating rooting of cuttings and the health of stressed plants. The use of LeafCoat strengthens plants by stimulating their natural ability to resist adversity.
Sprayed on the leaves it forms a very thin, elastic layer (1.5 microns) containing the nutrients needed by the plant. The natural latex creates a protective layer on the leaf that is permeable to air and light but at the same time biodegradable within 2 weeks. This thin layer is nevertheless effective enough to mechanically protect the plant from natural antagonists. LeafCoat protects plants by giving them a powerful repellent effect against pests. Due to its viscosity it mechanically prevents the occurrence of parasitic and fungal infections on the leaf systems.
Can be used from the vegetative phase up to two weeks before harvest.
What is Leaf-Coat?
Leaf-Coat is a ready-to-use product that strengthens and protects plants.
Made of natural latex, it was originally designed to prevent evaporation. It creates a permeable, self-degrading barrier on the leaf while still allowing air and light to filter through.
Why Leaf-Coat protects best in all conditions
If the environment is too hot-humid (temperature above 28 °C), Leaf-Coat helps the plant to retain the necessary water during evaporation. At the same time, the natural latex layer formed on the leaves helps the plant to breathe and prevents it from oozing. And if the thermometer drops, as in winter, Leaf-Coat protects against the cold and helps keep the temperature of the leaves constant.
A green and environmentally friendly alternative to pesticides, Leaf-Coat really is the ideal and safest choice. Plus, by reducing the use of pesticides, you save money! Unlike synthetic and toxic products, it has a pleasant scent and does not irritate. Precisely because Leaf-Coat is not absorbed by the leaves, it has no effect on the aroma of the fruit.
How is it used?
There is no need to mix Leaf-Coat with water: just apply it directly from the bottle, preferably by spraying it. Spray the product on all leaves and flowers, repeating the procedure twice a week until about 15 days after the end of flowering.
A few hours after application, a super-thin elastic layer, only 1.5 microns thick, will form on the leaves. The beneficial effects last up to 2 weeks, when natural decomposition due to light or sunlight begins.
