“Kompolti’ is a Hungarian variety, cultivated throughout Europe.
It is the most widespread Hungarian variety. It is the result of more than 20 years of selection work by a team of expert geneticists. It was created from a combination of Chinese, Hungarian and probably also Italian material, characterised by high vigour and wide adaptability to different environments.

It is a genetic that was developed to produce fibre but is now chosen for the production of inflorescences and biomass for extraction (CBD).
