The Humboldt Seed Company (HSC) was founded in 2001 by biologists in Humboldt County, California, initially growing for patients as part of the state's Prop. 215 Medical Marijuana Initiative. Since its inception, HSC has evolved to create high-end seeds for the recreational market, supplying seeds to both commercial and home growers. HSC conducts unprecedented phenotype research that takes place every year by fueling a scientific approach to the selection of feminized, regular and autoflowering seeds, vetted by the best growers in California.
