The KAM series air distributor is a centrifugal ventilation unit designed for heat recovery systems from fireplaces and stoves. This device makes it possible to take the hot air accumulated in the chimney hood and distribute it efficiently to other rooms in the house. With the use of a ducted hot air distribution system, you can optimise the thermal efficiency of your heating source, ensuring energy savings and uniform comfort throughout your home.

Main features

The structure of the KAM fireplace fan is made of corrosion-resistant galvanised steel. To ensure maximum efficiency and silence, the unit is equipped with fireproof mineral wool internal thermal and acoustic insulation. The system incorporates a heat-resistant motor designed to operate in high air temperatures and a centrifugal impeller that provides high pressure to push heat through long-throw ducts.

Operation and Thermal Control

The KAM unit is equipped with a temperature sensor that automates the entire thermal ventilation process. Once the air inside the chimney hood reaches the temperature set on the thermostat, the fan is automatically activated. Conversely, when the fire is exhausted and the temperature falls below the set threshold, the system switches itself off, preventing the circulation of cold air within the ducted space.
